I am finally back to blog again after a little hiatus in trying to get my profile page just right and then having to wait on the good folks at Groundspeak to get the updates right for my page to work. Needless to say, I'm back and hope to be blogging here more. If you would like to see my profile page, you can view it anytime at www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=harwell5
Only time will tell now how often I will be blogging. Hopefully more frequently now that my page is set the way I want it.
In the meantime, I would like to mention that since my last post, I became unemployed. So if there is anyone out there who reads this and knows of an Engineering Firm looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer with 2.5+ years experience in steel and concrete foundation design, please let me know and give me a heads up about contact information. I live in the Charlotte, NC area and would prefer not to have to relocate, but if the right position presents itself, then that would be possible. But I digress, NOW........
On to caching........

Please tell me you'll have a tutorial or something on HOW to do the profile up like that. That is simply AWESOME! Very cool work.

Out of curiosity first because I am intrigued how people come upon my blog, how did you run across mine.
Haven't thought about creating a tutorial, you wouldn't believe me if I put one up here. Let's just say I used a lot of combinations teaching myself. The basic "tabs" concept I asked to use from another cacher who had it on his profile. I just changed it to my style and the things I like by using an html writer offline to create what you see (and pages for others) and use a combination of GSAK, cachestats, itsnotaboutthenumbers site and teaching myself html writing. It would really be a lot of writing on here and take up a lot of space to try and create a tutorial.
However, that said, I may be able to help you do something if you have ideas in mind. I could help build your page. Haven't thought of this until your comment sparked an idea, but being out of work, I could do it for some compensation. I wouldn't know where to begin in what someone would charge, so if you would like to talk by email about it, please send me one.
Guess I should have said THANK YOU, first.
Thank you for the compliment!
